Captain Glagh Pshad was the leader of the Red Crest, a centric political alliance of Family Crests. His own Crest was the Crest of Shepssha. He was a Pheonix-Class Commander during the Gorn/Klingon Wars and Commanded a squadron of elite fighters known as the Royals of the Republic (a humorous oxymoron accentuated in the Gorn language). His squadron was always competing with Dragon-Class Commander Slessh's own squadron, the Darkshadows. They were both present at the final Battle of Omicron.

Pshad became the leader of the Red Crest when his father, Supsish Pshad, died. He was promoted to Captain and took command of the Red Crest fleet. He was an active member of the Executive Branch of the Republic, and was an advisor to the Commander in Chief.

When Lord Slessh, a Supreme Court Justice, tested out a new subspace weapon and blasted most of the Red Crest and Black Crest fleet to the Star Wars Galaxy, the members of the Senate who were on the surviving ships elected Pshad Commander in Chief of the New Gorn Republic on Rak 4, after establishing that they could no longer contact the Gorn Republic in the Milky Way Galaxy. They became extremely close allies with the Sluagh Empire

Pshad oversaw the well-being of the nation until Captain Sessik Slessh, his old rival, broke off and attempted to reform the Monarchy. Although the attempt failed, the civil war left the country drained, and left the nation open to attack from the Children of the Nile, who easily overran the Gorn and sent Pshad back to the Milky Way.

The former Commander in Chief is now a historian back on Gornniska, and is reportedly trying to gather information and an army to go back to reclaim his old nation.
