Major Scranth Yager was recently appointed as the head of the Imperial Infiltrators, once known as the Imperial Storm Commando's, by orders of Supreme Commander Kael. The newly reinstated commando program was set up in secret to respond to the growing number of extra-galactic forces pushing into the galaxy. When Imperial interests or the interests of her allies are threatened, the Infiltrators are called upon to protect them when conventional forces are unable to fulfill certain missions.

__Training__

Upon acceptance into the Stormtrooper officer corps, Scranth was shipped to the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps training facilities on Cardia, where he underwent the grueling, and often dangerous training all Stormtroopers must go through. Scranth's primary focus during training was on stealth, though he also made high marks in marksmanship and squad level tactics.

The Storm Commandos were an elite branch of the Imperial stormtroopers. They were formed in response to the guerilla tactics of the Rebel Alliance early during the Galactic Civil War, developed by Crix Madine. Even after he defected to the Rebel Alliance, the Storm Commando training program still continued, and only the best Imperial stormtroopers received this training; they were rare by the end of the war. They are trained specially for anti-Rebel missions, siege breaking and sabotage, with units ranging from four to forty commandos. Their black armor is based on the scout trooper's light armour and is coated with an advanced polemic called reflec which deflects light and sensor energy. Storm Commando's are skilled in stealth, infiltration, hand to hand combat, espionage and various other skillsets. Scranth led an eight man team for several years, up until the Empire's downfall after the disasterous defeat at Endor.

During the Thrawn years, Scranth became an undercover operative for the resurgent Empire. The missions he preformed during this time are classified to this day. The nature of his job meant that Scranth had to become totally self-reliant, his training during the turbulent years following the defeat at Endor teaching him about survival in extreme conditions from the artic, to desert climates. With no support of any kind an having to survive on his own, Scranth's training included intensive study of local cultures, various hand to hand fighting styles and camoflauge techniques. In espionage parlance, Scranth was known as a singleton.

__Brief History__

Scranth is the oldest of three siblings born into a privledged family on the Galactic Capital of Coruscant, or Imperial Center. His father, Mellin Yager, was a sucessful entreprenure who had a good head for investment and made his family a lot of money. In addition to that, his mother, Marris Fnorr Yager was already wealthy, her family being owning a giant farming equipment manufacturing company on Tanaab. Being born into wealth, Scranth attended only the finest private schools money could buy and generally preformed very well in most subjects, particularly the fields of history and science.

Upon his graduation from high school, Scranth looked toward the Imperial Army as a means for establishing a good social standing. His parents, both firmly believing in making your own way and not being open to the idea of Scranth in the military, told his son that he would not pay to keep him out of combat, and that the decision to enter the army was his alone. Young and stupid, Scranth entered an Officer Training program that once again saw him excell in all subjects, particularly squad based tactics, stealth and marksmanship. His scores during this time led to his acceptance into the Storm Trooper corps.

Scranth's first few months as a Second Lieutenant were quiet until he was sent to the planet Kalaan, where the Empire had been fighting since before the Battle of Yavin to dislodge a very well entrenched Rebel stronghold. Having been deployed well into the fight for the planet, Scranth was met with a hellish battlefield that had de-evolved into trench warfare, where neither side was really getting the upper hand.

Scranth was quick to adapt, even excell as he always had in these adverse conditions. It's a well known statistic that Second Lieutenants are killed more than any other officer rank, and with that in mind, Scranth was an anomaly, his two brutal years of up close, hand to hand combat with the entrenched rebellion seeing him only minorly wounded a handful of times. His men looked up to Scranth as a strong, confident leader who made smart decisions that didn't put his men into unnecessary harm, whereas many of his peers made seemingly stupid decisions that only led to massacres. It was this impressive record that won him many awards and an eventual promotion to First Lieutenant.

Toward the end of his two year tour, Scranth had taken part in direct support of an Imperial Commando unit. He had worked in support of them before, but never in a position that had Scranth directly collaborating with the commando's CO. Impressed with their coordination, independence and efficiency, coupled with Scranth's growing disillusion of the Stormtrooper Corps, Scranth moved on with his career to join Imperial Special Forces, specifically the Imperial Commando units under the command of Imperial Intelligence.

After a training period of about one year with the eight person squad he would eventually command, Scranth was moved to the ISD Behemoth where he and his squad took part in several, very sucessful raids against the Rebellion and other forces the Empire deemed "hostile".

After the fall of the Empire several years later, Scranth and his squad members found themselves without any real direction. Moving back to what would eventually become the Imperial Remnant, Scranth now acts, usually on his own, in the interests of the Empire, still firmly believing in the New Order. His current whereabouts are officially "unknown" in all Imperial paperwork, though he is really on Bastion helping to train new recruits for the recently reinstated Imperial Infiltrator program.

Now older and wiser, Scranth has mastered his tradecraft and is considered by many who know him to be a spy and espionage expert. He is an extremely dangerous marksman and hand to hand fighter, and still has a good mind for tactics.
