Supreme Commander Dakkon V. Kael II was the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Remnant forces. He achieved this position after a coup resulting in the death of several Moffs and the previous Supreme Commander. He is presently the third Supreme Commander following the signing of the Bastion Accords.
Appearance
Kael looks to be about in his late forties, has a long face, defined nose and chin as well as high cheek bones. He has a large frame and stands at about 6'10''. This strange combination of features is due to his dual Sordadod/Noranot heritage. His face has slight discolouration and scars in reflection of the life he has led. He has graying black hair and three several long scars across his back, one of his defining features.
Kael usually wears his basic green Imperial Officer's uniform though it is not uncommon for him to wear several other uniforms in his wardobe. Since becoming Supreme Commander he has several new uniforms to choose from. He has a black uniform which is used for formal meetings, a white uniform which is used to Royal ceremonies, a Red uniform which is used for formal occations or outings and a gray uniform for field command.
Hardlight Construct Appearance
Following Kael's death he had set up an eleborate scheme so that his memories, feelings and personality would be preserved in large datafiles and handed off to his next of kin, Eden. Following this scheme he was given new life as a Personality Matrix with a Hardlight Construct body that he can alter at will. His prefered form is a younger version of himself wearing a black suit sporting a small scar over his left eye.
History
Kael was born on the outer rim system of Nockmarr which bordered the Nevo'lo Empire, a small military society that dominated three star systems in Unknown Territory. His family, known as the Clan Kaeltor, were reigning nobility for the centralized government of Nockmarr. Being of Nockmarr blood he was larger then average Humanoids with a strong build and a near indomitable will for survival. He was raised in the family manor just outside the central city of Nockmarricon Prime where he was privately schooled in politics, history, Galactic Basic and Nockmarrian, military history, the arts and etiquette.
When he was seventeen the Nevo'lo Empire invaded the Nockmarr homeworld bringing along with them their war hives. The Nevo'lo were insect like beings that would smash their war ships onto the surface, destroying entire cities before unloading their troops against the suvivors. Shocked but this attack Nockmarr was thrown into chaos and easily subdued. Kael was dragged from his home with his sister, tied to a pool in their yard and forced to witness their parents exicution at the hands of the insectoid like humans. Then Kael was treated to the indignity of watching one of his father's closest friends pledge loyalty to the Nevo'lo Empire by raping, torturing and killing Kael's sister before taking Kael to be his personal servant.
For two years Kael was forced under whip and lash to obey his new master. He was reduced to little more then a house boy placed incharge of cleaning washrooms after his master and as a beating post when his master was upset. And for these two years Kael plotted his revenge. He left behind his birth name of Maximillian Trelo Kaeltor and assumed his new name, Dakkon Kael, in the words of his people translating to Dragon of War. He secretly met with others of his enslaved people gaining allies in a vaste underground resistance movement.
Exactly two years after becoming a slave to the date Kael led his revolt by slaughtering his master by slicing open his stomach and burning his entrails while still alive. He then led his people to fight back against the Nevo'lo Empire, pushing them back off his planet after one year of running skirmishes. Finally at the Battle of Greater Nockmarr Kael masterminded a trap cutting the main body of fleeing Nevo'lo soldiers from their reinforcements, destroying both forces completely and utterly leaving no survives. The cry of "No Prisoners" whipped his warriors into a frenzy as he then staged one of the most violent political and ethnic purges in recorded history killing.
The Purge of Nockmarr was started when, after Kael's defeat of the Nevo'lo Empire, powers within the rebellion began to fight over who would assume control over the planet. Claiming his leadership of the Rebellion as proof of his right to rule Kael battled all others for this position. As arguing turned to violence Kael ordered his men to kill all who would oppose his rule and all those who had converted to the Nevo'los religion during their rule. In one week over 10,000,000 lives were expunged from the planet of Nockmarr. Kael's rule was complete.
Seeking lasting revenge against the Nevo'lo Empire Kael commissioned a massive Armada to be built. Upon its final construction Kael led his forces against the remaining systems of the Nevo'lo Empire leaving entire worlds barren and burnt out. Once again Kaels ruthless cunning and apparent disinterest in preserving life ruled his battle plans and the Nevo'lo paid dearly. Over 4,000,000,000 Nevo'lo colonist were bombarded, shot, burned, tortured or crushed to death in Kaels wave of destruction. Where ever possible Kael would simply circle a planet and bombard it from the sky for days before sending down troops to clean off the rest. He would suffer no survivors as his quest to completely rid the Galaxy of the Nevo'lo continued.
After five more years of constant battles Kael finally decended on the home world of the Nevo'lo, meeting with their Emperor who pleaded for a peaceful resolution to the war. Kael agreed under one condition. They were to hand over the names and locations of every remaining colony to be kept under observation to make sure they new great into a major threat against Nockmarr again. Once the information was passed on, however, Kael had the Emperor killed and slagged the planet. He then visited each colony personally before having it completely destroyed. Finally as Kael's bloody crusade against the Nevo'lo came to a close with the grand death toll of the war well over ten billion lives.
Following the defeat of the Nevo'lo Kael turned his attention to the great power that was growning out of the Old Republic. The Galactic Empire was borning just six short months after his war. Seeking the support of such a massive power he met with its leaders. As a show of good faith he submitted his power to the Emperor and joined the Officer's Corps where he was well recieved. Nockmarr was included into the vaste power of the Empire and Kael left forever as its leader to false tears and silent joy.
By the time Kael was a full Captain in the Imperial Navy he was 29 and later was promoted to Vice Admiral by the time he was 32. Although he was an Imperial Officer he worked closely with Army officers and was nicknamed The General. He was close friends with the then Colonel Veers. He honored and admired his tactical brilliants to such a degree he adopted Veers as his middle name.
Soon Kael was promoted to full Admiral where he was then stationed around the Corillia where he taught at the academy there. He remained their for several years before returning to active duty with his new rank of Fleet Admiral. He was charged assisting the Defense of Coruscant though Kael saw the power of the Empire waning deeply following its defeat at Endor. Even his title of Fleet Admiral seemed paper thin as several diffrent commanders scrampled to add new rank bars to their chest. Seeing the futility of defending Coruscant with his men at such low moral he withdrew his forces fleeing to the outer rim.
Years before while doing a tour of duty in the Unknown Region, Kael had happened upon a unique system filled with a green nebula of sorts. The Shadow System, as it was known as, was what he discovered at the core of his Nebula and this is where he fled with his fleet. Upon reaching its core he conquored the primary planet, inhabited by a darkskinned Humanoid race. He then stretched his arms out from there conquoring several smaller systems near by thus creating a cozy little mirco-Empire not unlike the Nevo'lo had. He then set out constructing a weapons and technology corporation using the Nebula's natural gas, remnant energy left by a collapsing anti-matter sun.
Shadow Corp as it was known as helped supply Imperial remnant groups with weapons and technology for a reasonable price. He also supplied the Blackmarket within the fledging New Republic helping to debase its laws and regulations. He amassed a small fortune before hearing of a place where he might gain Immortality. Seeking everlasting life Kael set into motion a chain of events that was to be known as the Tsuki Event which has past on into legend and changes depending on who you hear it from. From this place Kael never returned and his fate was largely up for speculation.
After the Restart
Kael has resurfaced again however unlike most people who have either returned to life or had their memories erased and restarted, Kael retains much of his same knowledge. Theories include his apparent capture and release from a plane of reality that exists beyond the realms of the normal multi-verses.
He has recently taken control of the Imperial Remnant using his advanced knowledge to help reform its power and use it toward some as of yet known goal. He has also recently killed the mind of the current Universe Kael, who was also reborn like everyone else, and taken over his mind assuming his age shortly after the fall of the Empire. Because of these actions it is argued that Shadow Corp and the Shadow System have fallen to the way side, likely the explination for Kael's vanishing act in the previous universe. Regardless Kael moves forward with his plans continuing toward his primary goal. Immortality.
Most recently Kael engaged his most bitter enemy, Ash, in their final battle. While Kael managed to strike down Ash, he in turn was run through by Ash's weapon. While Kael was left dying he was attended to by his daughter, Eden. His parting message was marked by a strange phrase. "Zeta 4293".
The Personality Matrix
Following Kael's demise at the hands of Ash, his soul was collected by Wolfram and Hart and the man known as Kael was taken to hell to be punished for a life time of cruely. However, his continual strike for immortality, even if it was only as a symbol of himself, endured. He had set up an eleborate plan for be enacted should he die involving a completely collection of his thoughts and memories from his birth to his death, a completely copy of his mind into data.
Leaving instructions these massive datalogs for his next of kin, Eden, he set up a long chain of events that would eventually lead her to recieve the foundations of his being, the Personality Matrix Cube, which housed a program completely devoid or any kind of personality, a blank page ready to accept a new idenity. With both the Personality Matrix and the Data, Eden managed to safetly imprint Kael's mind onto the Personality Matrix and thus granted "Kael" new life.
Though it can be argued that the Cube is not actually Kael, but merely a shadow of a real person, it can not be said that it lacks Kael's ruthless and malicious nature. Since attaining its personlity, the cube has gone on to order the assassination of the remainders of the forgotten "Saroyan" race, begun gathering allies from the darker corners of the Multi-verse and turned his eyes toward the small moon of Tsuki which he believes holds some kind of untapped power. It is yet to be seen if he will attempt to bargin with Wolfram and Hart for the soul of the true Kael yet or not.
